The CEO has a proven track record of boots to the ground and less rubber to the road. The COPP is certainly a project that works. Block by Block, the initiatives aim is to facilitate community police relations on a local, state and national level by partnering with police, the community, and businesses. These are the three components that make up the project's basic model.
The objective is to expand the initial three block model with other stakeholders that fit into one of the three main components. For example, our "youth initiative" is an essential component that will fall under the community block model. Each block will have sub blocks; in keeping with the block by block approach. Each project is tailored to the community needs. This is essential to creating a real and true approach to the community being identified as a true partner with police and determining how they are policed, and also how responsibility is administered in protecting the quality of life.
